I fact they have better life than LI-po.
but the problem is that "C " rating in that sense current output is very low as compared to LIPO.

YEAH ...so it cannot be used for say quads...maybe just for endurance airplanes for long fpv flights...

hi,

A group member ordered high discharge Li-ion batteries from aliexpress and assembled a 4S pack himself.

We tested the battery on a sky surfer and a sports model with good results.

Watt meter showed full throttle discharge of 30A and the pack is 3000mah and weighs only 200gms

one thing forgot to say we got 25 mins flying time overall done in two planes.

further duration tests will be done to more results but yes they seem to be better than the Lipo

and good for general flying. moreever a good replacement for 2200mah lipo users.

regds

EXCELLENT BAJARE SIR

I AM ALSO planning to build 3s 2200 mah  battery

some people are saying that lion battery are highly inflammable, is it true or not

what about price, are they cheaper than lipo battery

Hi, it's not inflammable under any conditions that you probably should do. Make sure you buy the genuine ones, else you never know what is inside one of them. Prices are comparable to LiPos. By the way, there's no capacity as 2200mah in Li-ion cells.

Since it's already in a metal casing, it's pretty safe even if it falls down.
