Am having a hard time trying to find LiFe batteries anywhere in India. It is out of stock everywhere.

Even internationally, it seems to be unavailable or exorbitantly priced at most places like towehobbies, bananhobby etc.
With the change in the Hobbyking shipping policies, am finding it hard to find it anywhere else at a reasonable price. Huh?
Any suggestions would be really helpful...

(Not sure if this belongs to the wanted section or batteries section)

Yes LiPo is perectly safe. The 9x has a voltage regulator that takes care of the stepdown. The only problem is that you're wasting about 50% energy as heat...you can also use a 2s (7.4v) if that is of concern. See the two cell LiPo mod for 9x on youtube

Accucell/IMAX B6, both are good options for charging LiPo(and many other types. NiCd, NiMH, Pb, LiFe, Li) batteries.
