Try to locate highest thrust /highest g/W , by this I mean locate the point where the motors produce the highest thrust with minimum power inputs. And then you'll get a weight point. Minus the gear weight and get the payload weight , calculate the battery capacity according to the payload weight. This is all a tricky process , and does not accounts any wind.
