If it is difficult to get a ready made lipo or li ion rechargeable battery, you can make it yourself at your home.Items required- used or new 4 mobile batteries( li- ion/ lithium polymer) 3.7 v.(stock batteries are strongly recommended) tools( digi multimetre & soldering iron+ lead) so,you can use 4 batteries to get 7.4 volt. ( parallel) .They are very reliable and last about 30- 45 mins. somtimes more than this!so,all you have to do is collect your used cell phone batteries and take out the battery ic and connect them accurately.ive also used this home made battery for my heli.it flies well.but iam a diehard crawler.all the best.good luck

It is not possible to use mobile battery on heli's / planes reliably.

The discharge rate will kill the battery within 3 or 4 cycles, not worth the effort.

Only application possible is to use in the TX where current required is low and parrallel function will add the capacity (mah ) for a long usage.

anyway a nice idea to start with

A better option would be to use the 18650 batteries which you also find inside laptop batteries.Since these can discharge at a much higher rate then mobile phone batteries.
