Title: Fast charger for Lipo
Post by: rajsachdev on August 10, 2014, 10:05:29 AM
Hello everyone,

Have 2 lipo batteries for my quad an 2200/3S/25C and an 3300/3S/25C am using an standard balance charger (don't think it balances) which takes several hours to charge with a charge current of 850mA, an acquaintance from Netherland told me he used a charger which charged his batteries in 45 minutes so i guess his charger has bigger charge current. Can anyone advice me which chargers are good (not too costly) that charge batteries in balance mode, safe and fast.

Also i have that small circuit for testing battery voltage (the 7 segment LED kind that alternates display between the total charge and individual cell charges) can i keep that connected to my quad while flying it (of course will secure it) for quick visual indication as i get carried away some times and drain them below 11.1v safe mark.   (had an APM power module but it turned out to be faulty, constantly had batterysafe in flight after 1 min. so removed it)

Thanks,
Rajesh

Get either this http://rcmumbai.com/index.php/product/imax-b6-skyrc-original/ (http://rcmumbai.com/index.php/product/imax-b6-skyrc-original/) or this http://rcmumbai.com/index.php/product/imax-b6-copy/ (http://rcmumbai.com/index.php/product/imax-b6-copy/)
with the latter being an copy.

For Power supply  http://www.ebay.in/itm/12V-5-A-amp-60W-DC-Switching-Switch-Power-Supply-Driver-for-LED-light-220V-smps-/201130444359?pt=IN_Home_Appliances&hash=item2ed44f0647&_uhb=1 (http://www.ebay.in/itm/12V-5-A-amp-60W-DC-Switching-Switch-Power-Supply-Driver-for-LED-light-220V-smps-/201130444359?pt=IN_Home_Appliances&hash=item2ed44f0647&_uhb=1)
So total with original charger is 2,500 with doop is 2,100.
