Hey Guys !!

I finally designed my new heavy duty charging station inspired from progressiverc.com
This is a powerful station that can be used to charge heavy batteries like 16000mah 6 cells.

I have designed it on Corel and got the acrylic laser cut for the final finish.

Here are the components that go into the making of it.
1.) icharger 308 Duo
2.) Turnigy 1200 Watt PSU 220V (50 amps, 24V)
3.) Vanguard Military grade Carry case
4.) High Flow 12 volts 80mm casing fans x 2
5.) USB Extensions x 2
6.) Servo Extension x 2
7.) 4mm female bullet connectors with housing x 2
8.) Power switch with fuse
9.) Blue LED strip from HK
10.) Miscellaneous wires and connectors for multiplugs.

This is a 1200 watt system for some serious charging... Tested at 1200 watts for 6 hours continous.

Thank you all... The top deck is not bolted to the case. It can be lifted up easily and there is storage below for all wires and connectors. You won't forget anything at home as everything has a place below the deck. Will post the inside pics.

This is a case by Vanguard.
This is 37 cm size. I got it locally in Mumbai from a shop in Andheri. They have many sizes available.
expensive cases but cheaper than pelican. This case was for Rs.9700.

Ultimate !!!! too good.

Just have a proper padded place to keep batteries while charging..... small dust and movement of battery will scratch the acrylic.

And one lever to hold the top from falling or you keeping it against the wall every time  Grin

The batteries are supposed to be kept on the top deck just above the vent holes. Usually my batteries have velcro attached so they don't generally move while charging... Also,  this is meant to be a field charger... I don't mind some scratches while normal usage. One cannot help it.. they are bound to happen.

Btw, acrylic is cheap. I can get the whole acrylic for just 200 bucks. laser cutting is another 50 bucks... that's it..
