Since I am new to this forum. this might be very old/usual experience. but i learned it my own way. so i am sharing this with others. I am having sky surfer version-5 from banana Hobby as gift. it came with BC 3s10 balance charger, but no manual. google search did got me manual and was able to charge the stock battery once. As i had drained the battery during buliding process of the sky surfer i thought of completely charging the battery for outdoor flight.

only one mistake and my charger is down, i presume.

The one mistake was to connect lipo battery without powering the balance charger. now i dont see the rhythmic flashing of charging of lipo battery.

So, i think i have burnt my balance charger and looking for same.

The manuals Should carry WARNING: NEVER CONNECT BATTERY TO THE CHARGER WITHOUT SUPPLYING POWER TO THE CHARGER.

Has anyone used above EV-Peak Charger available from Rc dhamaka or Turnigy Accucel 6 50W charger would better.


Anybody having used Ev-Peak charger AP606.

That doesn't sound right. That alone should not cause the charger to die.

If you are in for the long term, then getting a decent 50W (or higher) charger is a good idea.

If that is the case we would all damage our balance chargers  with our electric supply system
