Title: how to lower mah rating of lipo battery Post by: TRISHUL 1994 on February 05, 2016, 12:12:14 PM last week i recycled my 3s 2200mah 25c 11.1v lipo and now i have 2s 2200mah 7.4 v lipo (i cut out the damaged cell) and thanks to SUKHPREET Hats Off.
but i want to lower the 2200 mah to 1800 mah or lower... can anyone help me?? i thought about adding a 1w 1kohm resistance parallel to the out put ... would it work??? recommended specs of my motor: cf2822 1200kv esc: 20 amp volt: 7.4v 2s - 11.1v 3s these motor can't take more than 1500amp - 1800 amp what should i do? MAH is no issue as it is not current but the capacity of the reservoir. Important is C number and the motor ampere drawn should be less then battery capacity. Go ahead and connect your motor.. Keep a correct prop and you are safe. A large prop can be very dangerous like a 11X6 for your motor.
