It is okay to charge at 2.4A setting than 2.5A setting , lesser is always better.

Because LiPo batteries are unstable and overcharging them increases the risk of damaging the battery and it might go up in flames.

If you try to charge at 2.5 the batttery will be fully charged at 2.45 but the charger may keep charging. This is dangerous and will also likely ruin your battery.

As long as you are balancing the lipo while charging , your are ok. That is not to say that there will never be a problem  but keep an eye on the cells as they are charging.
1 c rule of thumb is useful to improve the longevity of your packs. The 45C packs are rated for a 10C charge and the 35C packs are 8C charge rate and so on. But still i would not charge my 45c lipo with 10c rather 2c should be perfect.  Charging at a lower current will extend the life of the battery a little, at the price of taking longer to charge. A bit tech side  Smiley

All "intelligent" chargers - which includes the iMax clones - will taper off to around 0.2 amps as the battery approaches full charge. There is neither danger nor possibility of ruining the battery.

Sushil, I use a HK Accucel. Here are actual observations: Assume I am charging at 2.2 A. When my battery reaches full, in this case (#S) 12.6, it is still at about 1.6 or so A. It then gradually tapers off over a period of 10~15 minutes.

I hope my charger is OK, but if it is, this represents the risk I mentioned.

Personally, I would NOT take that risk, but charge at 2.4 A. "Kee pharak pehnda?"Cheesy
