Hello,
I have a 3S lipo battery. I used to use it in my RC Car few months back. But now its fluffed and showing 0Volts with the multimeter. So i planned to do saltwater method before disposing it off. But its been almost more than a day and i cannot see any change in the water color(usually should turn green). Can anyone help me out this my first time disposing off a lipo. I'm from Pune.

Regards

Don't wake a Tiger until you've factored the teeth

Firstly, peel off as much of the covering you can safely do. Then immerse. In 15 minutes it's all over!

Can see this too:  http://www.rcindia.org/batteries-and-chargers/how-to-dispose-off-old-lipo-batteries/

Thank you Sanjay, I went through all the threads on this topic. The only worry i had was i cannot see bubbles coming out from the wires as seen the video from the link you shared.
However i will try peeling off more cover and then try it again. Being the first time i would appreciate someone local hobbyist can help me out.
