Weird pricing of HK lipos

I was seeing some 2s packs and I came across this.
The hard case lipo is cheaper than the soft case.

Heli=Diff parts flying together in close formation

As the soft case is lighter than the hard case, keeping your AUW lower as compared to the hard case battery.

But isn't hard case supposed to be safer?And any idea why the zippy flightmax packs cost more than the turnigy packs?Are the flightmax packs better?

The cost difference is not much but in my experience both the packs deliver the same however weight wise Zippy is lighter than Turnigy.
