Title: Lipo problem Post by: Darshan for multirotors on March 22, 2015, 02:15:50 PM I just got a 1500mah lipo battery for my Tricopter. I connected it to the esc's and a spark came out. A liquidy substance came out from the battery ( I think ) and the cover tore off and the 3 batteries inside were visible. I connected them again but it didn't power up. So I charged it and tried again but still the same problem. Is my battery damaged or can it work again???? ??? ??? ??? :help:

Also double check the Polarity of the connections that you have made from all 3 ESC's to the battery. the battery have undergone serious damage due to the short circuit, check each cell separately. and before testing another battery, make sure all connectors are perfectly insulated. Title: Re: Lipo problem Post by: Rcjabalpur on March 22, 2015, 03:22:36 PM Electrical tape will work (heat shrink is recomended) . You can check each cell with a lipo checker , but write this battery off (it will only cause more problems) .
