Post by: RAHUL QUADY on March 12, 2018, 12:40:38 PM
Hello guys,I am having a trouble with my B6 charger.I have a 3s 2200mah 11.1v lipo and when ever I am setting it to 1.0A(that's how i used to charge),I am getting an error.I don't know why this is happening,so I decreased the value to 0.5A,its working fine without any "input vol errors"!!!!.But this is of no help to me,it takes hours for me to charge a single lipo. Please help me out on this one guys!!!,please!!!!!!

Your input power supply cannot provide 1A continuous at 12.6V. That's why.
Get a better power supply.

Get a 12v 5A power supply. Good quality Sagem units are available on ebay India.

It's not able to sustain the rated 1amp output because it is:
1. Getting old
2. Getting hot
At least that's my experience

I too think that the power supply is to blame. Maybe it's not performing at peak efficiency now. The reason being, as stated by Iyer Sir, age and heat.
I tested my old power supply. Similar thing happens with it. When I try to charge me batteries at 2amp rate, it cuts off and the charger quits.
Try upgrading your power supply to 2-3 amps or if you can manage, 5 amps. If you manage to get hold of a 12v 5amp supply, it can also be used for hot wiring foam wings.  ;D
Regards
