Hi All,

As we know importing lipo to India isn't an option, so asking for any suggestion of brand, seller or any other means to get high capacity(5000mAh and more) lipo in India.

I have tried Tattu from RCMombai but its one cell went bad within a month.

Getting quality lipo seems a challenge, I wonder how so hobbyists are managing.

Also, will customs block imax charger?

Tattu batteries are rather good. Never had any problems.

Customs don't usually block chargers.

Yes.

I suggest trying robu.in, rcbazaar.com, Quadkopters.com, Rchlipos.com.
All offer good lipo batteries.

kartp3112, I checked each one of them but only robu.in has batteries of 3000mAH or higher, that too Orange batteries.I am in doubt over its performance.

Does anyone manufacture RC Hobby grade LiPo batteries in India ?

lipo are so dicey.

even some reputed/small LHS are selling faulty lipos or old stock

sometime, branded lipo fails and  local does well. But  my advice is purchase fresh lipos.

Now a days gens ace of rcmumbai is doing well.

They are OK. Have about 6, 3000 & 3300. Performance has been OK so far (about 30 cycles each)

My quad weighs 1.5 Kg, I wonder how much flight time can I get out of 3000/3300 mAh orange batteries.

How much you get and whats the weight of your quad.
