Input voltage is 6-14.8V. So you can use 2S-4S Lipo.

Hi Minesh.
Actually it depends on ur project or purpose. But you should go for High C battery. 3s or 4s  with big capacity 2200 and above.

if u are a beginner then start with 2200 mah 11.1v lipo . but it will get discharge very soon with 3542 brushless as it consumes a lot ...
if u can then go for 11.1v - 3000 or 3500 or 4200 mah lipo.  cost will be little more but u can consider this as one time investment provided care is taken.

prefer Lipos with 30 C and greater

u also need a controller - ESC - 60 amps minimum recommended  [ prefer integrated BEC or or SBEC or UBEC  ]

C 3542 brushless is very good investment.  [ Aeolian and EMP offers good magnets ]
this brushless can easily handle flying weight of 1.5 Kgs
i have one with me for my models. this is really good but now i use  36-56 1700 KV Brushless capable of handling 1500 watts for my custom models... [ fast wing ]

Hi minesh,

In my opinion, you need to choose the battery based on the the purpose you are using It for. Higher the voltage(S value) and/or capacity (C rating) the bigger the battery and more the cost. You might buy a battery with ample capacity , but might be too heavy to use for your application.

So, evaluate carefully before investing. I'm not an expert though just trying to arm you b4 investing. Smiley
