what will happen if i connect a higher "C" rating battery to my transmitter?? of course i can solder appropriate plug that goes into transmitter.... any other problems like burning / charring any circuits?? ??? Title: Re: transmitter battery with higher C rating help Post by: vishal on January 16, 2013, 03:39:11 PM the high value of c means that the battery has the capacity to supply large amps.
so if u connect it to your tx its ok because the tx won't need that extra amps. so no requirement and the battery won't supply it i am also using 20 c 3s lipo in my tx. Title: Re: transmitter battery with higher C rating help Post by: sameermaha on January 16, 2013, 03:43:09 PM
thks i thought so..... Title: Re: transmitter battery with higher C rating help Post by: muradshak on January 16, 2013, 04:02:58 PM It is less likely to ruin your tx,but low discharge lipos will give you an option to perform charging at longer intervals without damaging itself..
