please help.. 
i am using http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9787__Turnigy_1450mAh_3S_11_1v_Transmitter_Lipoly_Pack.html
lipo for my transmitter, bought only 2-3 months b4..
and when i checked the voltage today it shows only voltage of 1 cell.
and i charged it for a long time now also it shows only ALL 4.2V and cell1 4.2V
no other cell V are displayed, no puffing or nothing there..
what will be the problem?
   

Is there any possibility for loose contact or something? 

Can you eliminate any problem with your charger by trying on another LiPo? Maybe check the balance plug?

actually i am using basic 2-3 cel lipo charger and no problem with the charger as other lipos are charging fine...

Hey arun, try opening  the outer plastic wrap and check the JST soldering. I've had the same prob on 2 of my lipos. Cheers!

defective piece of lipo, if not showing all 3 cells

Just check if the battery connector is showing11.2V or not. if the balancer is showing 4.1v and the bsttery terminal is showing 11.1v then the balance terminals connection are a problem.
if both are same then there battery is down.

i charged the battery only once after buying.. dont know what happend...

but how the solder will get damaged? 
I think i lost  it.. 

Open the outer plastic wrap, the blue coloured plastic of the lipo. Then, you'll be able to visually check the soldering. Can't rele put my finger on a particular reason fr it to get damaged.

Possibility of "dry solder"

did u leave the battry unattended for few days- / or in transmitter overnight (even if transmitter is off)......

the cells might have gone dead diacharge.... so that lipochecker might not display.....

solder break cud yet another problem..... but i think it wud be a scenario in which there is sudden loss of power "during use".....   

now that u seem to hav opened the pack already..... see for the circuit...... but if nothing seems wrong...... go for charging individual cell by a normal mobile / utility charger... anything above 4.2 V can work..... but dont use very high voltage for individual cells like.... 9V... or u can burn ur lipo.......

+ u can straight go for charging entire lipo (with coventional 12V) charger) ..... but keep continuous monitoring and checking voltage and temp of the pack.....

when individual cell rises  to 3.2 volts.... u r done..... ur balancer charger can be used 

meanwhile do u use turnigy 2s/3s simple charger??..... if the light is blinking...... then u have sure over discharged cell

If the voltage at both balance connector as well as battery connector is showing  one cell 4.2 V and total 4.2V then the Lipo for sure has gone bad with 2 cells dead. Try reviving cells individually. Chances are very remote though. It is a case of cell internal resistance reaching 0 due to deep discharge.

@sameermaha: I didn't discharged them too much, the transmitter light was green last night and next day morning it wend deep red..
and when checking the V only one cell displays..
can i separate the cells and charge it one by one..? i have a 1cell charger with me... got with toy heli..

If what you are saying is true that voltage at both battery connector and balance connector is 4.2V then I am positive that your lipo has gone bad.

If voltage at battery connector is 11.2 to 12.6 V  and at balance connector  is 4.2V it is balance connector bad soldering. Further if it is zero voltage at battery connector then there is some hope that connection  between cells is bad soldering.  Under any condition voltage at battery connector cannot be 4.2 in any case for unspoiled lipo.

@sameermaha: dude can i try charging the entire battery using a 12v 2A charger?
 or need to separate them and charge one by one?
And need to charge them through the main output wire right?
As i am using normal charger i used to charge through the balance plug..
Need to check this final way before dumping..

It is just deep discharged. Dont Panic. Just add any cell phone charger to each cell separately to the dead cells. Please sanguin about the polarity as it was correct in connection.
You can check the current by multimeter. If the current is over 1mA, it will be revived. Just wait till the current reach 100mA (In fact charging current, though it's terminal will show zero or near zero voltage.) Of course you have to keep close eye on the cell to be charged.
If any heat senced, just disconnect the cell.
Don't use Nokia Charger. Use Samsung OEM charger if available.

Similar problem occurs when cell phones with LOUD speakers are forcefully turned on after safety shut down 5-6 times, it wont get charged (Or show any voltage). After 3-4 hour of charging connection, the cell attain it's EMF and "charging"display comes.

After gain 3.1 volt to each cell, use balance charger for charging.

Though all are soldered, dont cut off the package first. Charge from the balanced charge plug terminals.

ok fine so i need to find the balance charge wires +ve and  -ve terminals of each cells and charge them separately right?
what about the charger sir which one to use?

Intermediates terminals may differ from colour but you can see that red and black clearly at the charging terminals.
Use any cell phone charger (Better Samsung Charger) and charge. You please check the polatity of the charger terminals +ve and -ve. Just take out using paper clip, flex wire etc.
While connecting to balance charger, be sure and take care not to short circuit any terminals, it will just melt the wire.

And do I want to monitor the current using multimeter always... how many time it will take approx to charge..?
