Hello,

I have 2 x Duracell Rechargeable AA 2500mAh NiMH batteries and had been charging them using dedicated NiMH charger. Recently that broke.

I have a ToolKit M7 charger, which has NiMH mode and want to see if I can use that to charge these batteries. I will use 2 x 1.5V AA battery holder two put the batteries.

Do I simply have to connect the red and black wire of holder to Toolkit M7's output and charge?
And the charge settings of NiMH mode shows,
Cells - Auto (I can set cell count manually too)
Nixx Peak - 5mV (I can lower or increase this)
Carge Current - 3.8A (I can lower or increase this)

Is this good?

Thanks.

I end up charging at 0.5A and charger showed it loaded 2600mah and took around 5 hours.
Battery temperature reached 40 degree Celsius at end of charging.

I hope it’s good.
