I am new to this hobby and recently got a Traxxas Summit(1/10). I am looking for an A/C charger to charge 2 X 3S LIPO's(Max 3S for now) but wanted to get a charger which is future ready :-)

I am thinking on the following options..

http://www.rcbazaar.com/products/1084-gt-power-xdrive-4-in-1-charger.aspx
http://www.joyrisinghobby.com/Pages/ProductDetail.aspx?pro=196
http://traxxas.com/products/parts/chargers/2933ezpeakchargerplus6amp

I want a charger that is more reliable, safe to use and FAST Charge :-). My budget is 8K max.

Please suggest the "safest and most reliable" charger.

8K is a good budget...Get an icharger 206b or 208b. I used to charge 6 3s 2200 mah lipos in parallel using 106b.

Raja_mastana is also using turnigy accucell 8 and is quite happy with it.

Thanks Doctor...

I am confused on the output of the icharger - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__10382__iCharger_206B_300W_8s_Balance_Charger.html

Do I need to buy a seperate cable or something to charge multiple LIPOS?

Hi,

Thats a good choice...

You can charge multiple lipos either in parallel or in series..

To charger multiple lipos u need one of these two:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14856__Hobbyking_Parallel_charging_Board_for_6_packs_2_6S_XT_60_.html

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__15237__Parallel_charging_Board_for_6_packs_2_6S_T_Connector_.html

Either one of these will be needed for parallel charge.

The output of this charger is 300watts. This capacity of 300 watts is reached when ur power supply is above 18 volts. Check this link it will make the basics of lipos n charger clear to you.

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.

My I request you for your lowest mAh capacity LiPO ?

The charger will depend on that.
Each charger designed for a specfic charging current. But that should never cross the battery charging current Or you can say, charging current of charger should be less than battery's maximum charging current value.

So, either you should go for a variable current charger or a low current balance charger.
You may try

We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.
