oh! I havr ordered Turnigy  Acucell 6 now,

Now Please help me to select power adapter.
In my house more then 10 adapters are sitting idel

from 6v to 19v but guys can u plz tell me
it want DC or AC adapter ?
and and how much mAh required ??

You need 12V DC 5Amp adaptor minimum.

You can use laptop adaptor if you are having with you.

I Am not sure about mah but my laptop charger output is 19 v as much as I remember, need to confirm once.

no you can't use 19v ,anything between 11 to 13V is good. i suggest use 300watt SMPS used for normal PC's can be converted easily to basic 5V and 12V power supplies!
or else search for
Universal laptop Adapter which has a output of 11v to 19v (selectable) and 60 watt! hope this helps!

Hi Today I have received Turnigy Accucell 6 Charger

So I started searching adapters in my scrap, So I found 12v 1.25A Adapter (Maximum)

So started to charge my
NiMH battry 6v 1500mAh
then I charged
LiPo battery 7.2v 800mAh
LiPo battery 7.2v 1200mAh

and then I come to my 3cell battries
So I start charging LiPo11.1v 2200mAh, but when I hit start button, charger going to restart.
May be my adapter is not generating enough current, mAh

My question is Why I cant use 19v ??
what if when I charge 6cell 6*3.1 = 18.6v  will 12v adapter is enough to charge 6cell ??

and I heared we can connect it to car battry, when I purchased car battery, shopkeeper said we have two battries, 1 is 32A and another is 35A

so how this charger is able to handel high current theny why not volts ??

How huch Normally we can charge 1 LiPo Cell........it is 3.1v each cell

but charger not stoping so I stoped on 8v (2Cell)....mean 4v Each cell

Is it ok ?? or I need to discharge it ASAP ??

Full charged single cell lipo will give 4.2 volts. So full charged 2 cell lipo will give you 8.4 volts.
Full discharged single cell lipo will give 3.3 volts. So never pull out of single cell lipo beyond 3.3 volts.

Firstly, the input voltage rating is 12V to 17V. So you can't exceed that. If the supply voltage lies between the given limits then all you need to check is the proper current (wattage).

A car battery with 30 A rating won't supply more current than required by the charger (5 to 6 A).
The amp rating only tells you the maximum current the battery can provide. It doesn't mean it will always give 30 A to everything.   

The charger can't take high voltage (>17V) because its internal circuitry can handle that much only.

You can get it at any local electronics shop. It'll cost you more than Rs. 400 for a good one.

ENTER brand....I am looking cheapter one.....Today I will go to my local computer market and find that ENTER brand charger, as I know I'll get it on less price comparitively to ebay

It is just 3rd day of arrival of my Turnigy Accucel 6 Blance Charger and I burnt it in Morning

I was trying to charge 3S Lipo 2200 mAh but I have power adapte of 12v 1000mAh rating so it was unable to give enough power to Charger and charger turn off it self.

Then I look my creative home theater Adapter, it is 13.5v 5000mAh, So this charger can support 12v~15v & 5A

So I pluged in hurry and that become my big mistake  , That adapter is AC/AC adapter but this charger required DC input 

So I smell some wounderfull burning component and a little magical sound.....tik

and everything goes blank...................


Then I opened it and try to figure out what I have burnt and I didnt found any component burnt or any mark, so I put DC input and it flash its LCD once and then turn off. and till that time it is dead.

Can anyone help me .........

Ok, so here it is,

I burnt a IC as shown and marked in image.

Do any one have his faulty charger and like to donate its charger that particular IC 

I am not sure but may be it will work 

how did you conclude that this particular IC gone bad??

I have seen a crack on IC which is not clear in pic.....

its very light line just like scratch
