Title: Battery Specifications for 1000KV BLDC and 30A ESC in Quadcopter
Post by: AadiEC on December 24, 2019, 01:24:25 PM
What should be the Specification of battery if I want to make Quadcopter with 30A ESC and 1000KV BLDC motor I am using KK 2.1.5 Flight Controller, right now I have Li-Po battery of "11.1 V ; 25 C ; 2200 mah". But Quadcopter is not working all four bldc motor stops at full throttle and FC restarts.

P.S. This is my first post so please forgive me for any mistake.

Hi AadiEC!
Welcome to the forum!

Let's get one thing clear while working around with quads please remove your Props and work with it! Only once everything is good to go and ready to fly mount your props.

Well the lipo you described will work with your setup!

Regarding the FC restarting I'm guessing there is some loose connection! Check your connection of your ESC to the KK 2.1.5. The ESC connected to the port 1 of the board is what powers your KK 2.1.5, also do check the soldering connections of the ESC to the Quadcopter!

I hope it helps!

Welcome to the forum.
Please clarify whether one 30A Esc, or four.
Which motors? Which props? Their current draw with the props you are using?
If you are using ONE Esc of 30A, and each motor draws say 10amps, the Esc will be overloaded.
If you are using 4 30a Escs and each motor draws 20 amps, your lipo is overloaded.

Don’t worry about first post. Your post is fine. Only more data reqd for a meaningful answer.
Best wishes.
