Unless you read and build your basic RC knowledge/vocabulary, any answers would just be met with "And what does that mean" :) So please take some time "read" AND "search", and you will find yourself getting immersed in this wonderful hobby. Canards are small wings in the front of planes. these usually replace or augument the tail planes. A good example is the front canards on the Long EZ plane. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canard_(aeronautics)
