You can visit this page:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1577227

The components used by Ken are listed in the first post itself. The electronics look to be sufficient for his indoor flight.

However, if you truly want to learn the art of scratch building, I would suggest you first scratch build your plane with servos and push rods in place. Then take the weight of the semi built plane. Now use excel spread sheet to add up weight of different electronics. Try to keep the weight to thrust ratio of 1:1 or more than that.

Follow the golden rule of keeping the weight down as much as possible. I did this mistake; was very liberal with the glue robustness and my plane's AUW is approx 730 gms. In my next build, I will try to bring the weight down.

And above all do lots and lots of reading. To start of, you can read posts on this website, wattflyer.com and rcgroups.com. Of-course you can go ahead and use google if you need some more detailed information.

For the wing I have built a KFm2P by referring to this KFm3P build thread http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1474665.

Have a look at this thread if you want to see how the wing flies http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=20861800&postcount=18107.

And above all subscribe to the main blu baby thread at rcgroups and "stay subscribed". You never know what knowledge you would pick up by listening and learning to other people's problems.
