Hi
I have an antares slope soarer 100inch wingspan, total flying weight of 1kg. Planning to have an electric conversion with an old 2200kv outrunner and an old kept 10x6 prop which shall add additional weight of a 100grams.  Kindly advise me whether the prop selection is feasable Or do i need to opt for any other prop and motor combination.

A 10 inch prop is too much for a 2200kv motor you should not go above 6 inch in that kv. Btw which size stator is the motor?

Let me share you the specs of the motor. A2212/6T 2200 kv. 12pole 2.2cm dia stator. Kindly advise further.

Is this the golden and silver colour motor?
If yes, then I suggest you get another motor. These motors are worse quality you'll simply risk your plane catching fire.

You can look at 2306 2200kv from emax or some similar brand , max prop size for 2200kv motor is 5inch

Yes it is the golden and silver one. I too have an emax cf2822 1200 kv motor. Since my total flying weight as calculated is approx 1.2 kg so will a 10x6 prop be required Or a less dia prop can be fitted into.

Cf 2822 1200kv can take 10x6 prop, you'll need a 30A ESC though, this should work

The manufacturer always provides a data sheet
Which talks about dimensions of the motor , prop range , volt, current and thrust

I have gone through the specs of data sheet. With a 10x5 prop and 3cell lipo the rated thrust output is 840 gms. My total flying weight shall be around 1kg. So won't the airplane be underpowered? Kindly advise

Unless you plan to turn your glider into a jet plane then it's all fine,
Your plane isn't underpowered the wings will do all the work for you !
Its always good to see other builders who have the same plane as yours and see about their electric setup!
