Its not recommended to order RTR Cars.

It will attract heavy custom duty.

I suggest

Get the kit without electronics.  No RTR / ATR
The benefits are that the kit boxes will be relatively small to RTR boxes saving you on shipping and customs. Also there would be less chances of getting detained by customs.

Get the electronics in a separate order. So incase if the electronics package gets stuck there would be less damage.

Nothing should be imported without paying customs if applicable. As law abiding citizens, it is our moral duty to pay customs on assessable imported goods and should be prepared to pay so.
Neither this forum would not encourage you to discuss ways to evade customs, nor would I suggest you to discuss the same.

I ordered last year a RC car worth 10k and paid 4k as custom duty.
Mine was kept for 1 month for custom reason. I emailed them invoice & payment deduction sms then it was released after 2 days.
I emphasized that its a toy and not a hobby item otherwise it was sureshot to get detained.
It was shipped thru EMS . On my request ,the custom officer said he will charge 2k but when postman came bill was of 4k.
Btw 2.4Ghz apparatus like RC cars are banned , I was lucky that nowhere 2.4Ghz was mentioned on remote so it got released but paid 41% duty.
Now banggood is not shipping RC cars to India but maybe other sites but more chances of stucking due to 2.4Ghz reason and less for custom reason.
