Dear All,

I am a newbie. I am building a 450mm Quadcopter. I am using

-> 2200VA Brushless motors

-> 30A ESCs

-> KK2.1.5 Board

-> 3.4V LithiumIon Batteries - 3 connected in Series

-> Flysky Tx (CT6B) & Rx

Acc Calibration - Done
Self Level - On
Type - Agro
Receiver Test - Pass
ESC Calibration - Seems to Pass for a While

After Arming, and increasing throttle 2 or 3 motors turn ON. Others Turn ON later. At Full Throttle, almost all motors STOP and try to rotate on both the Directions.

Please help me to fix the issue. Huh? Huh? Huh?

Thanks in Advance.  Bow

@krishna_gopal_2

Welcome to RCI.

Motors try to rotate in both directions Huh?

If you mean that they judder, the most likely cause is poor/cold solder joints between ESC and motor, manifested at high current, ie, full throttle.

Resolder all bullet connectors and see if it solves the problem.

If you have difficulty in soldering connectors, let me know. I’ll share my method.
Regards

Hey buddy you are not supposed to give full throttle indoor with props mounted. It could have been lethal.
Play safe.
--> Use lipo batteries if possible li-ions may not provide required power to motors.
--> As Iyer sir said recheck the solder joints. One of my friend had the similar problem and the reason was poor solder joints. Check the connection between motor and ESC carefully. After resoldering check the motors individually connecting them to ESC. Do not mount props. Use some tape or paper to see the direction.

Try to get better radio as ct6b has some issues with pitch or elevator centering. It is good for plane though.

Thank you all for your valuable comments. Will start resoldering and checking the connections.
@k k iyer - Could you PM your soldering method to me. A Photo or a video will be very useful.

Hi Everyone,
-> I changed the battery to LiPo 2200mah
-> Resoldered all the connections with new set of wires. Better than the previous ones
-> Acc Calibration passed through
-> Layout Set to x - Quadcopter
-> No Errors seen in front LCD panel
-> Receiver Test passed through
-> ECS Calibration passed through (it seems)

But Not Arming  Head Scratching
Please help me sort it out.

I guess you only need to calibrate your ESC's (all of them connected to the battery when you calibrate). I am assuming you are well versed with the calibration procedure. and take the props off please.

"ESC calibarion passed through (it seems)"

why the "it seems"?

@ Girishsarwal,
He solved it yesterday.
Apparently what I PMed him was just what he needed.
Though my experience of quads is close to zero  Grin

Actually not a complete ‘tukka’, as I learnt many things by research and trial and error while setting up my first and only quad a few years ago.
Despite never having flown it more than 10ft high or 50ft away.
As a one time glider jockey, I have a mortal fear of anything that can’t come down to earth gently if power is lost...

 Thumbs Up

I have a mortal fear of bringing down airborne stuff to pieces, regardless of power failure or gliding capabilities...lol
