Guys i m having vibration problem with mpu6050,due to which my quad is unable to fly.On the multiwii webpage the owner mentioned that "The acc. and gyro trace should be almost a flat line" , and mine is dancing over there so due to which i think i m unable to fly,Any suggestions on minimizing vibrations???,

*Without props also its shows vibrations
*And on props on,its Worse

1. What parts are you using?
2. How have you mounted the fc to the frame?
3. Does it show vibration when the motors are off and the quad is stable?

1.Multiwii 2.4 on Arduino Uno with Mpu6050(Gy521).
2.Arduino directly on double sided tape and mpu6050 on arduino that too with D side tape.
3.No,on turning on the motors without props also it shows vibrations,

My third ques was If the Sensor shows noise when the quad is kept still without the motors spinning.

The problem is because of the GY-521. Chinese manufacturers put capacitors of wrong rating (which match some other capacity used in the board so as to reduce cost and effort) which kind of work for projects that do not require that much precision. This causes contact drift in the accelerometer (the angle gradually increases) and noise in the gyroscope. That is why it doesn't fly stable.

I also faced the same problem while working with multiwii where I was able to fly but it used to tilt to the side and eventually I had to land it as I couldn't correct it with the transmitter and found out the actual reason by some research.

There are two ways to solve this, either go for a 10dof sensor unit which has the mpu6050 or simply leave multiwii. The 10dof units are pretty expensive (around or more than 1k) so I suggest going for some other fc.
