What is your budget?
Scratch build or are you planning to purchase and assemble a kit?

Have you made or flown a quadcopter before? If not then I recommend a mini quad kit. Add FPV later when you can fly well.

This kit -- http://www.quadkopters.com/product/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/diatone-blade-250-arf-kit/
WITH a B6ac charger.
And this tx -- http://rcmumbai.com/products/flysky-9x-2-4ghz-9ch-transmitter/
And this battery -- http://www.rchlipos.com/bonka-1500mah-45c-3s1p-11-1v-lipo-battery-xt-60-plug.html
A PDB and an xt60 pigtail and bullet connectors (just in case )
That's all
If you haven't flown a quad before, I recommend going for toy grade quad like the Syma or H6 mini.

Okay are you going to stay in rc forever then  go for good radio and charger .
And then you should read your remaining budget.
And if you are in serius fpv racing . Go for red pan/bottoms and kiss esc and kiss fc . And get some bonkas 4s. Start with kingkongs . Unbreakable ones . First get your hands wet with  starting LOS flights. Then slowly go to fpv. If you encounter any issues /problems / questions , then ask on forum .

Yup. If you are going for serious fpv racing then buy the kit parts from sp4mm3r.com  . They have an excellent stock of fpv racing products.

I have flown toy helicopters before so I think I should go for the kit or for a toy quadcopter
