Title: FPV recommendation
Post by: Darshan for multirotors on June 10, 2016, 08:36:23 AM
I am thinking of buying the VR 007 goggles for FPV. As these goggles have vrx built-in, I need you guys to suggest me a vtx and camera, both within 2.5-3k.
I was thinking about this vtx -- http://rcmumbai.com/products/boscam-fpv-5-8g-200mw-av-wireless-transmitter-ts351/
Does no LHS have a good camera in 1-1.5k range? Please suggest a camera, if available in this price range in India.
I would mostly want it to be more of plug and play without a lot of soldering, etc.I will power my vtx and camera from the balance port of my battery so is there any connector available in India which could do that?
Thanks  :hatsoff:

Not sure about the camera but you can plug most cameras directly into VTX. Solder a connector to your PDB for your VTX (JST female for the BOSCAM Vtx I think).

I have that transmitter with Sony CCD camera for sell. Both are new. Also have circular polarised antenna which can give u range more than 1.5km. All channel settings are done, just needed to plug and play. Comes with all cables and connector, camera directly plugs in transmitter and also takes power from it. Note that Transmitter has an JST power plug that connects to battery. PM me if you are interested.

I had one of the best fpv camera hs1177, available on my store today, but it got out of stock instantaneously :giggle:. I will stock them again next month if you can wait for sometime, the VTX is pretty good but as a vr007 user myself, I would recommend not to buy it, coz you will hate it's resolution after some time, you should rather go with the eachine ev800. Check both of them out and judge for yourself ;)
