Post by: RC_DUDE on March 13, 2012, 01:22:06 PM
Hello everyone. I'm new to the RC hobby.

I am a total thug in building RC flyers and cars.

My past experience - AVRs , line followers , Maze solver bot.
b.tech (ECE) FINAL YEAR

Right now I m working on a " RC vehicle will be equipped with cameras , robotic arms , distance sensors , ultrasonics, etc. It is going to be my major project , it is going to be my final year project.

A lot of indian rc shops online that I have gone through them pretty cheap.

The only thing that I found was not according to ease was the LIPO-BATT , there variety and price.

I need Lipos for my car and cheaply , can someone help?

RC DUDE, it is not possible to classify any available battery in market present. but, one thing is sure, that most of them are coming from a same mother factory, just like the radio sets in various brand name.. you can save the battery, by, its life, by choosing an appropriate battery for your need.. more clearly, you can choose, a battery pack, that pack must be capable of pumping out the current, ( power), at least one time double than your maximum need.. for example, if your machine takes 10 Amps in your need, in maximum, we can use a battery that can provide 25 Amps of discharge rate.. so, battery will remain cool, and can avoid over drainage within premature time.. another criteria is to take  is over discharging..if you over discharge your battery, it will start to swollen..so, we can avoid this by adding a cut off or low voltage warning systems on our machines.. we must praise God for the present opportunity to handle these power sources..  and if you are too interested in very high quality LiPoly battery, you can enter in to the website of Sanyo, or Panasonic, and can go for a deal.. will be 20 times costlier than for one..so, look some feedback from dealers..they will guide you, as they have the clear experience with dealing..have some nice crafts.. :hatsoff:
