Dear Abin,
Welcome to the forum.
Converting the rubber powered Guillow Fairchild is not a suitable project for a newcomer to the hobby.
My suggestions for a happy introduction to aeromodelling are:
1. Build the Fairchild as it is and learn to trim and fly it free flight with rubber power
2. Later get a beginner's RC combo (Model, Tx, Rx, motor, prop, Esc, battery, charger etc). Will cost Rs 5-10,000

Best of luck.
Attached are some links to 'Converting the Fairchild to RC'. Enjoy!

Abin,

If you are interested in buying micro stuff, there are RTF models from rcbazzar (3 models) or make one like Blu-Baby 24inch which is a good model for beginners.
