@anwar sir,
Just noticed (with some amazement) that there is no board for RC Gliders!
Perhaps we could have one?
@devanesan andrews,
Starting this thread at your request...
Since you want to try histart for launching Gliders, I'm posting some guidelines to start with.
(Not guidelines for high performance, just a starting point)
1. The histart consists of a length of rubber/silicone tubing plus some string/twine.
2. You can start with string length of 3 times the rubber length at rest.
3. You can start initial launches with tension equal to 3 times the weight of your model.
4. You can start with extending the rubber to 1.5, 2 or 3 times its resting length.
5. So you need to find rubber/silicone that will have tension equal to 3 times your model weight, when stretched to three times its original length.
As there is a lot of info on the net, I'll be posting data only from my own trials...
Meanwhile let me try to interest some more members in this by attaching a few videos
(Please don't mind that the have earlier been posted on this forum a year or two back)
