Appreciate it. :) Title: Re: Incorporating Landing Gears Post by: PankajC on March 24, 2011, 10:40:42 AM The most common mechanism of making a landing strut is using steel spring/piano wire and bending it as per desired shape. If you have a tail dragger then the main landing wheel pair is placed just below or slightly in front of the LE of the wing and the rear wheel at the edge of the fuse.
Regarding how to fix it depends on the type of materials used, but needs to be reinforced. LEt me see if I can pick up some pics of what I do |
