Hi, I am wanting to buy my first transmitter and have narrowed down on FlySky CT6B 6CH Transmitter and FlySky FS-i4X 4CH transmitter. Out of these two which one is a better option? Also which one has a better range?

Thanking you in advance

ATK

PS is electronicscomp.com a safe site to buy transmitters from?

Hi, I have experience with flysky FS ct6b, it is a nice radio, but unfortunately mine was not good in range, hardly, 200 ft or so. Don't know about the other one, but I would vote for a frsky taranis, they are awesome.

Hi Adel!
A radio is an investment, the models you would operate with the radio is much expensive!

To be frank with you, I would recommend that you consider buying a flysky fs i6 atleast!

the CT6B is just too much of a hassle to work with especially if you on the field! Any settings you want to do you require a laptop/desktop for making changes in this radio.

fs-i4x ch Ive not heard of this, A 4ch radio is a little less common, especially if you are flying quadcopters you need a 6ch one

pay a little more and get an flysky FS - I6

Don’t go for Fs-i4x. Thats my first radio and not even once used that to fly A real model.
It does not have enough channels, also no failsafe.
It’s still with me, wanted to get rid off it from long time.

Go for a radio with atleast 6 channels, and a display for tuning. Fs-i6 is good choice.
If you can afford 10k, go for FrSky x9 lite.

Thank you all for your replies. I think I will buy the Flysky i6 transmitter as many of you are recommending it.

@Adel

I have a FlySky FS-CT6B. It is my first radio and I was skeptical at first after reading the reviews but once I received it, I could clearly see that it was a solidly built equipment. The gimbals are smooth and responsive. It also offers the basic mixes like elevon mixing and it is actually a good 6 channel transmitter. The receiver also is very sleek and pretty strong. I would recommend that you buy it from robu.in, it's available for 2.7 K and I've had very good experience with the store so far, it's very reliable.

The only downside to the transmitter is that it doesn't have an inbuilt computer so a computer is always required to make tiny changes but an FS i6 costs roughly twice the amount so I think the FS- CT6B is a good value for money. If you can increase your budget then the FS i6 would be the best choice. Sub 3k category, the FS-CT6B is unbeatable I guess.
