Hello friends,

As RC hobby is really an excitement and it is equally expensive to so I have found some my alternate for me. as Motor is key stuff and during crash mostly motor is damaged some time shaft bend, some time winding and some time barring, now I rewind my motor myself I, If barring is damaged I Use barring of heatsink fan's baring (Intel or amd's wastage heatsink fan) for 3mm shaft, if shaft is damaged than cdrom shaft can be used, I have towerpro and emax cf2822 motor, I rewound this motor for my choice RPM, I changed Shaft and barring. the emax 2822 motor is vary good motor but it's shaft and front barring are not good and generally make not sweet noise because of front barring and the barring is aslo small than rear barring. but I made space for bigger barring with drill and I replaced it with cpufan's bigger barring now the motor generate very sweet voice and also spins vary smooth.
Another key and expensive stuff is propeller which we break frequently so I also found its alternate and made my own wooden propeller and these propeller really works like those propeller for we spend lots of,  I also made my own plane from local materials which I had displayed on this thread as 'my first attempt' I try to upload the pict of my hand made propeller If you like please few words for me.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Sounds great ! Wish you had documented each of these better, with intermediate photographs and detailed write ups.  It would be useful to others, and a claim-to-fame for you Smiley

Hand made wooden props!! woww... the closest I remmebr was handmade tin props by VC da!

But be careful with those low RPM Bearings (barring??) from CPU Fans. They are not meant for such uses.

Making these propellers would require good knowledge of propeller designing and wood working, it's not every body's bread and butter.

Well done.
