scratch builder and DIYer

Palwinder Sir,
as far as I know, the foam you are using is called Poly Styrene foam (commonly used in packing of laptops and other computer stuff) and it is not stiff enough to use in our hobby......thugh you can use cf to harden it lengthwise but it will wrap in flight

apart from this, I cannot comment on the design as I haven't tried my hands on one yet, so lets wait for the seniors to pitch in

regards
Bilal

Your prop seems on backwards and airframe does not look airworthy - it will not fly

patiala has a lot of aeromodellers - why do you not
seek out an experienced modeller and take his advice

try contacting your ncc air wing unit - or nip down to
the flying club - there's bound to be some one who can
advise you.

Fly High

Palwinder your design is good,
What I suggest is to use easily available thermocole for building and take some time to build the structure, and make it as much as aerodynamic as possible... and go with the same electronics...
I wont suggest you to fly this model As it will damage the electronics also...
Take some time to build a neat structure first... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Why don't you read what has been posted for your convenience earlier??? Instead of bombarding this forum with your repeated queries, why don't you pay attention to what is being told to you? There is a full fledged aeromodelling club at the Thapar University at Patiala. I was there in November and met them, I even told you so earlier.

I fly deltas.  I don't see why this desig won't fly.  It may not fly fast and it may need a lot of trimming but I don't see why it can't stay in the air if the pilot has figured out the proper CG.  You can take cardboard and make it fly.

First, you'll need bigger vertical stabilizers.  Then you'll need two servos.  Be sure your TX has elevon mixing.  Without the mixing via TX or mixing y-cable, it won't fly.

Wow my eyes must be tired.  Now I see you already have two servos.  It's better to go with the mixing than your current setup.

Or, you could just throw it the air and see what happens.  Or, you can find an advanced pilot and let them try it.  Have you determined the CG?

As a beginner, you're on the right path.  That is, getting into the hobby at minimal cost and at the same time learning how to build.  It's easy to buy an ARF kit, electronics, follow the manual, etc....  but that's also much more expensive.

If you look in Youtube, there are lots of scratchbuilds that won't seem like they can fly but do.

Cardboard is stiffer and will withstand a lot more air pressure/resistance than this foam. It is more like sponge - just that it doesn't absorb water.

Factoring everything in Saikat, I have been in touch with him since 23rd. Jan. He hasn't responded and just doesn't really seem interested in help. I withdraw.

Your first attempt is real good ... i looked at the delta again.

see if you can replicate the same on a light but stiff cardboard... same setup. Have caution regarding CG.

Once you make it put pic on forum..... By the way what are you doing studying or working?

you have to tell us about the servo (make, model) because not all servo arms are the same size.
