Dear All,

Good Morning.

Yesterday I made my first Rubber powered plane from Thermocol sheet.
But problem is this plan takes 6-7 seconds of flight time.
So check my pictures and advice me the changes to do for at least 1 min of flight time.
I am using normal rubber that easily found at home.
Please check out the propeller structure.
They are not moving so much and stuck.

Waiting for your replies..

Hi Ronak,1. for the prop to turn smoothly, you may place a very small piece of slightly thick plastic sheet in between the contacts. 2. To increase flight duration , you need more rubber bands, either 2 layers of usual ones or one layer of it+ a tourniquet slice ( you can buy it from any surgical (hospital supplies) shop. But be careful, when you add more power, you'll have to increase the nose weight. 3. Raise the wing over another flat piece of Thermocol ( height~ the wing chord) Enjoy! As you are into it, you 'll be interested to buy a prop/ winder.

Thanks for replying...

1. for the prop to turn smoothly, you may place a very small piece of slightly thick plastic sheet in between the contacts.

(Please check picture.. at that point i need to put one small square piece of plastic or not?

 3. Raise the wing over another flat piece of Thermocol ( height~ the wing chord)

(I am unable to understand.) Means I have to bend both wing?

Pls reply

2) Where Can i get best rubber bend for more flight time? And what should be the length?
