Hi Every one..
I need your help on Emax Edge540 3D from RC Bazaar
http://i44.tinypic.com/246179v.jpg
Need help from every member of RCIndia on Emax Edge540

Specification:
●Wingspan:920mm
●Weight: 100g
●Weight(battery included) : 310g
●Wing Area: 17d㎡
●Wing Loading: 18.3g/ d㎡

as you can see the weight of plane is 100g with out battery & flying weight 310g with battery
now i am going to use this setup

1. Motor: Brushless Prop saver Motor 1600 KV (max pull 470gm, weight 22gm,max power 115watt)
2. ESC:- 20Amp
3. Servo:- 3 no. HXT900 9g / 1.6kg / .12sec Micro Servo
4. Battery:- 7.4 volt 850Mah
5. RX & TX:- FlySky 2.4Ghz 6 Channel

And the total weight will be

Emax Edge540   = 100gm
Motor              = 22gm
ESC                = 22gm
Servo 9gm x 3  = 27gm
Battery           = 56gm
total             = 227Gm

Now my question is can i use this setup to make it air born or i have to reduce weight with Emax 12Amp ESC(8g). one more thing the battery i am going to use is 2cell 7.4V 15c 850Mah battery. is it good to use this battery or do i have to change it with 2 cell 900mah 20C Battery

Setup looks good. Using 900mAh over 850 should not make much difference.

What is current rating of your motor?
One should always do static test using watt meter to check how much current is drawn by motor. 15C 850mAh will give you max 12A while 20C 900mAh will give 18A. If your motor demands more current than 11-12A then don't use 850mAh.If not then you can use 850mAh as well as 900mAh.
In case you don't have watt meter, use only 20C 900mAh to be on safe side.

By looking at motor wattage you have provided in first post, motor is likely to draw 13-14A.
So my suggestion is don't use 15C 850mAh. You can use 20C 900mAh.

Thanks spitfire for you precious suggestion, i will use 20c instead of 15c battery. one more thing the total weight i calculated is it correct or i have to reduce the weight a little bit more changing my ESC from 20Amp(22g) to 12Amp(8g)

Ohk!

all the best on the maiden! do post videos of it!
i guess 20C 900mah lipo and a 20A ESC is best for a risk free flight!
extra weight would take an extra notch over half throttle to hold the plane back
