No seriously, use plasticine, after drying it overnight in open, spread over a plastic sheet. It should be dry as dough for Roti and not dough for 'Jelibi'. I couldn't agree more with VC for all he said for plasticine.

For my next glider I will keep your and VC's words in mind.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Although there have been tons of discussions here about chuck gliders, there seems to be no videos of them in full flight.

Nice flight Thumbs Up

L'enfant Terrible du RCIndia

Ujjwaana sums it up perfectly. It is flying well, just launch it into the wind. Well done!

Our second glider Magpie is a fantastic performer than the millenium. Thanx VC for all the help rendered. Because it is more in weight and size it could not be launched by ordinary rubberbands. But  had an old wide and stiff rubberband which did the trick.

I would like to mention that I did not get 400/600 grit paper. So after sanding with 100 grit paper we sanded it with a stone (In marathi it is called 'SahaN) used to make "chandan" during any Puja. The results are fantastic. I can not post the photos as I did not have cam with me during all the process but I am posting photo of "sahaN". It is old and has been used extensively so that grit is really fine. Perhaps a combination of appropriately sized pumice stone and this can be used in place of sand paper.

Regards
Vishwas

Reply to post #26 :
When i took videos the glider was not visible because it is small, flies fast and far and i only had a cellphone cam Smiley Will try again next time. All the videos in which the glider is somewhat visible has been put on my post.
