If you prop is puller prop then yes that right ...
Point your mofel nose or prop towards Sky and check. How much pull force you.CAN feel

Your model is smaller the I thought ....
If you are a newbie then please try to get a plane which has atleast 1meter wing span ....it is esier to fly them then the model you have right now
