Title: Planning to get an RTF after self made trainer disaster
Post by: rishi13 on April 27, 2015, 10:15:59 PM
Hello everyone,
I'm new to RC hobby. I had made a trainer plane with foam based on this website http://mikeysrc.com/Sport-Trainer.html (http://mikeysrc.com/Sport-Trainer.html)
however, my rc plane broke up in pieces during launch itself after crashing to the ground. Now, I plan to buy an RTF. Pleas advice me which RTF to buy and from where. I have the following components:
-9gm servos- 3 nos
-brushless motor-1200kv
-30amp esc
-1300mah li-po
-10x6 prop
-CT6B Tx and Rx
please suggest a plane in which I can use all my components. I am based at NOIDA and I am 11 years old.
Thanx

@rishi13,
Excellent choice. We have 3 here now.
But shipping will add about 1000. So it will be about 6000.
Thought your budget was 1000.

Incidentally, if you existing model is not completely destroyed, try doubling the area of the stabilizer/ elevator.
To me it looks like the horizontal tail area is too small in the mikeyrc plan.

Edit:
Post a top view pic if possible.
