Sorry I forgot to mention earlier .
We have checked it out  with a watt meter and found the best is to use a 2 S set up ( 7.4V )  with a 5 x 5 prop so that the Current draw  is  around 16 to 18 amps . With this set up the thrust is just right for beginners and it is extremely stable to fly even in very windy conditions like those we fly in at Kovalam
We have recorded   wind gusts  upto 30 + kmph ( not a regular feature but  some days it can be gusty in summer) .

Retreat, Hell!

This is a question for Sai sir (RCFORALL) or anyone who has purchased a Shikra.

The current price of the Shikra airframe-only is  Indian Rupees 1575 whereas that of airframe+BLDC+2props is  Indian Rupees 3600. Now, the cost of the BLDC 'DY 2805/14 2840KV' is  Indian Rupees 750 only and the 2 props won't go for more than Indian Rupees 100.

So, why is the second setup priced  Indian Rupees 3600 instead of  Indian Rupees 2420? Is a LiPo or ESC included too?

Thanks of   Pointing out this mistake .  The listing of the Shikra @ Rs 1575/-  was wrong so it is withdrawn.
Swapnil I owe you a special gift for pointing this out send me a mail of your address and we will send you a special surprise.

I wasn't pointing any mistake sir, I just  thought you must have missed adding something on the 'included items' list of the airframe+motor setup.

Sai the Link is inactive.

I have the Shikra. This is a wonderful model and has a lot of 'forgiveness' Like its stability... easy to setup and easy to fly...
Highly recommended especially as a beginner model. Plus the price has dropped from when i picked it up.

Also Rcforallin was kind in more ways than one... in regards to shipping and also with replacements for parts that were lost in transit.

So what is the new 'low' corrected price?  Smiley

Looks like the link does not work for sharing in a public domain.
Please mail rcforallin@gmail.com and I can send you the sharing link by e mail.
