Title: Servo Extension Wires
Post by: Shrikant on September 15, 2010, 03:56:24 PM
Hi All,

I am building a Piper Cub (58" wingspan) which requires aileron servos to be mounted on the wings (Obviously!!) I am unable to find a servo extension wire which is say 15" ~ 20" long. Can anyone help?

Alternatively i am ready to buy wire separately and make the custom length of extension wire with connectors crimped on. Unfortunately I can not find the connectors (normal type for sanwa servos). Any Suggestions?

Thanks for help.

Hi Shrikant,
Why dont one use Molex type pins and make a connector?? or you can take the wire/ connector sample (with servo maybe) and a trip to Lamington will get u what u want.

Hi Shrikant,
If you are not going to take out the servos in future then just add the wires between the servo and the connector. Just solder the wires and put the heat shrink on it.
This will be very cheap option. you will not have to run pillar to post for connector.

Thanks Regards

We have 600 mm and may be a few 500 mm servo extensions :

Please check the link below for different extensions that are available:

If you are wanting to use for Sanwa servos then take the JR extension which is also available on our site as SANWA/JR/Hitech use the same connectors.
