The Fly Sky 4ch simulator I bought was working fine till last week.
The controls have now gone bad, in the FMS simulation calibration screen the signals show either 1 or 0 or flicker (1 to 0 to 1). This happened gradually over the last two days.
Initially the throttle went bad. Till half throttle there was no response and then it was either a 1 or 0. Now all 4 ch have gone bad.
I tried with different usb ports on my PC as well as Laptop. Same result.
I suspect the IC has gone bad.  Head Scratching

Any suggestions..

May be you are right, These are just for fun, like Joysticks. I am using a 6ch dynam simulator. and no problems from the last 6 months, and I use it a lot.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Wouldn't the mechanical stuff (pots etc) be more suspect in this case ?  I mean from a "slow wear out over time" point of view ?

Desoldered the pots, put my multi.
The pots work fine.

They use a micro controller for the USB conv <EM78M612>, I guess this would make it difficult to replace.

Any body know a simple serial circuit to make this up again.

Hmm good learning...

So get a game controller with 4 analog channels and transplant the electronics to the sim controller.

Wont work, for some reason, those frontech joystick works like 80% negative expo. you move the joystick half way and the stick on the screen (in g4.5) moves full way.

Interesting. Glad I didn't go that way. I was about to when rcdhamaka got the controllers in stock and abandoned the project.

Dont know, but this is what I have and its free shipping (but I got it from somewhere else). If you get from DE make sure its registered. Or else you dont want the sim to end in postman's home.
