Don't wake a Tiger until you've factored the teeth

It is important to have a background in RC Model Aircraft for lasting success as a beginner

This is an excellent start

In fact, looking at some of the posts made by newbies (and, for that matter, "so-called" more experienced people) they also should read it  Wink Wink

If followed, you can
a) Go through a certified, structured learning process
b) Have a fair idea of model flying, with both the theory and practical aspects
c) Be a safe and responsible flier

You can download "A Flying Start" from here:  http://achievements.bmfa.org/guidance-booklets/a-flying-start

Today a member asked me about reading material, aeromodelling books etc.

Well, I don't know where to get these books, although RC Bazaar was selling some a while ago,

but here are some useful links

https://rclibrary.co.uk/  ( a wonderful site - must check it out, full of useful and free downloads)
