Hi all new members, especially those who are beginners,

Most beginner new members post repetitive queries on many boards, without realising that a little searching can get them the answers.

Currently 2 newcomers are going round in circles, asking piecemeal questions and getting piecemeal replies that may be partially or fully incorrect!

My suggestions:
1. Please post a msg introducing yourself, preferably including age and educational background, so that others will know at what level to respond
2. Please state what your objective is.
To learn to fly RC? To build your first RC model? Both?
These three options may require three different approaches.
Wanting to build a jet as your first model, and learning to fly with it, is a recipe for disaster.
3. Avoid making ad hoc purchases.
4. If you already have some stuff, please indicate what you have, so that suggestions can be tailored accordingly.
5. Please indicate your budget
6. Be patient. Don't jump to conclusions!
7. Search. On RCI. On RCGroups. On the internet. Seek, and you will find!
Best wishes.

cerca trova indeed. Much much less happening as of late.

Hope none takes this wrongly, but members please do a proof read before you click the submit button. The intensity of typos going up by the day & some threads are becoming quite hard to shrug off. Yes English might not be the main language for some but even then a quick proof read can correct majority of these simple typos which do not require any grammar skills. Something to think about.

@sandyx,
Gotcha!
Exactly why simplified version used!
And to avoid the pomposity I'm sometimes guilty of.
Learning to accept stuff like 'u no wat i mn' etc...
My 'Grammar Nazi' crown hereby respectfully ceded...
Regards

P.S.
Sometimes, interesting and perceptive observations notwithstanding, threads get diverted from their intended purpose...

Iyer Sir, I went nowhere near grammar. Why should i, right? You may kindly keep the crown. : P

The quote was a stress on the gist of that line, 'Search'. Never a step was taken any further than that.

Hope things are clarified now & the threads get much more readable.

Cheers

The reason I abstain from asking a question and the reason I abstain from replying a question... The answer is within the circle ...

Hello kk sir your idea to look into previous discussions is efficient but we i dont think even this discussion will be read by beginner. I think it qould be better if this made as some sticky topic so that this discussion need not be searched instead this can be directly seen on the page.
