Post by: RAHUL QUADY on January 09, 2017, 09:13:21 PM
Hey guys i would like to ask you a question, are there any steps to set up a communication link between a hobby king 6ch transmitter with its reciver?.I've tried so many times but still i couldnt spin my motor which is connected to 3rd channel of my reciver. My motor gives me series of beeps and nothing else.Iam using a dt750 motor and a 30 amp esc.

Try connecting servos to all the channels and try out all the sticks in the tx, may be throttle is not in channel 3

1.Are you sure whether tx and rx are bound. If bound u see an led glowing in rx.
2. If you have any Arduino you can try reading the PWM values of rx.
3. If you are sure the tx and rx are bound you can try to connect motor to channel 5 or 6 and give a try.

I know how to bind a transmitter to its reciver. When ever i bind my reciver to my transmitter,my reciver gives me a thick yellow light. And i have seen that video before and iam new to arduino,so i couldnt do anything with it.But i will try the 3rd step.

I have seen lot of videos on binding and i even observed few differences,if you want to spin your motor you have to move your throttle in different directions. Why do we need to do something like that?
Thanks for help guys!

Calibrate your ESC. Your ESC will beep if it is not calibrated and does not see a zero when booted.
If you are using APM, calibrate the ESC through the apm(many videos available)
If you are using it directly with the receiver, then calibrate it using the throttle stick on top position while powering on and then zero the throttle after hearing the beeps. Follow the instructions of your ESC manual to calibrate.
