Title: Turnigy ESC problem

i got it in the post a week back
and now when i connected everything i am facing the following problems-


my motor rotates 5 degrees in one direction while making a beeping noise and then comes back to its original position


my Tx and Rx are bound but
1 i cant program the Tx
2 checking with a multimeter there is no i repeat no voltage across any channel
3 my computer does not recognise Tx


my ESC programmer card is showing very dim lights


i am attaching a video with this please help me

Ignore if you read my comment before editing this, just watched your video and dude! you do not leave the bind plug on to your receiver.
I assume you are using a HK T6A Tx, so this is what you gotta do:
1. Attach the bind plug to the receiver in channel "BAT"
2. Connect your ESC to channel 3.
3. power on your receiver by connecting the ESC to your LIPo.( at this point do not switch "ON" your transmitter.
4. Look for the bind range test button on your Transmitter, it may be somewhere down or behind.
5. Switch on your transmitter keeping the Bind test button pressed, at this point your Receiver should stop blinking.
Once the blinking stops, switch OFF your Transmitter and disconnect your receiver, then remove the bind plug, switch ON your Transmitter and connect your receiver.
As soon as you power everything up you'd see that the receiver light is steady and probably hear the motor play a tune!

"Remove your Bind plug once you have binded your Tx to your Rx.

and this is the time you stop blaming your ESC!

Dear Nikhil,
You have got the perfect material from HK. Only thing is that these stuff.... Brushless and Rc stuff is alittle more than just connecting +  - to the motor...... First you need to do little reading search in this forum you will find lot of stuff or search on Utube there is a video which explains the connections. A few things which i could see in yuor video
> A 4S battery setup with motor links can be dangerous the motor will run at RPM you haven't seen.....loose wires can get entangle in motor and get short. Put proper fixture for motor before trying anything !!!!! Seriously it is dangerous.
> The ESC comes with default settings no need to program
> No need to Bind TX RX even initially....
> Connect Battery only after you switch on the TX
> The throttle stick & the trimmer should be at lowest position
> The SW 2 of TX is initially configured for Throttle cut,  check it !!! if the motor does not runs...

I suggest you to follow above without Binding / programming... in case your results are -ve then first bind ( search utube) on how to do it.

Checking whether your TX RX works connect a servo on 1 or 2 ch rather than the motor.

Hope these tips will make things work for you.... But reading in this field is MUST!!!
