There are many other kerosene stoves that use pressurized fuel. (The road side hawkers selling eatables have these stoves). Visit a Petromax lamp/kerosene stove repair shop and ask for just the tank from a worn out stove. It should cost about 100... . Now you can fill it with glow fuel and pump it up. Connect your model's fuel inlet to the tank outlet and open the flow valve. Just wait for a few seconds till your model's fuel tank overflows.

Two wires come out of it to which we have to connect a single Ni-Cd cell.It costs a lot less than a glowplug booster.

Title: Re: Ultimate Beginner Combo Post by: prakkat on June 27, 2010, 08:59:10 AM i do use the glow plug connector, but in this case you nee a big battery and battery you put closer to the plane, i dont think its a cheaper ide4a.anyway this hobby is avery expensive one, and the glow normal is very convient and you can connect it throw any direction.if you are using a electric starter ofcourse this the wire glow connector is more useful and quickly the starts too.
