Hi all am new to RC world but I just love it. I wish to build a quad copter on my own. I am fond of electronics. I own 2 RC helicopters and I keep looking at the machinery inside and wonder how it works how it lifts itself in air. Please help me with a very basic method of lifting my first dream drone in air. First of all i want to know the A to Z ingredients (part lists) used in making a drone and functionality and use of each.

Firstly, please don't call it a 'drone'. Hobby grade multirotors are most definitely not as capable as military drones and this gives a wrong impression to people, especially due to the recent paranoia about drones. It would help if you posted what your budget is. Also, use the search feature on the forum. This question has been answered several times. thanks for the prompt reply. at this beginner stage my budget would be around 4k. I wish to include a mini camera too

4K! At that price you could probably get an RTF (ready to fly) toy grade quadcopter like the Hubsan x4 which has a camera. If you want to build your own quadcopter, you will have to spend a minimum of 10000 if you bid on EBay and buy used parts and anywhere up to 20-25 K.

As I said 10K is the bare minimum if you are willing to wait to get parts shipped from ebay.com and buy some second hand stuff too. See this post for possible price breakdowns: http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/basic-quadcopter-price-items-wise/ If you are buying new, I would suggest you go for an ARF kit from quadkopters.com which has the frame, motors, ESCs, flight control board and hardware at around Rs. 7500-10000. You will need to a battery (990-2000), radio (3000-6000) and LiPo charger (550-1600).

I say that he should buy a good computerised charger instead of the B3. The B3 has only one function, no display and a very small charging current of 800 mA. A good charger like the IMAX B6 can charge multiple battery types, has a LiPo storage feature, 50 Watts of power and an LCD display.

then he should increase his budget.

@ RD , what is your max. budget, and is there any special use you plan to put this quad in future (Like FPV or AV )
